Oh, hell yeah. One of WE NEVER LEARN’s original teenage head-spinners and constant source of inspiration, Death of Samantha, have finally announced (after a quickie 3-song surprise set a few months ago) a proper reunion show. It’s the original line-up from their 1985 inception, and it’s at one of the best clubs in the country, the Beachland Ballroom, in Cleveland, OH, of course. Falls on December 23, so you’ve time to drive/fly to the family’s place the next day and still have time to sleep off the hangover before Xmas! Life can be good.

Cleveland Hardcore doc, 1985.
So why post links to other music sites when WE NEVER LEARN usually fulfills all your nutjob-noise needs? Well, when it’s something nifty, like Dusted just posting a “Best of” list from Rocket from the Tombs…and more! And if you haven’t heard Ken Nordine beyond his voice-overs from some pretty fucked-up Gap TV commercials in the latter ’70s, then definitely dig on his ’60s LPs!
And yet more, the hugest LIV!DS gig yet! And dig the artwork by Mort “Back from the Grave” Todd. Thanks, Mort!!!
Yeah yeah yeah, more LIV!DS action coming. I’d suggest you invest in Depends.

I’ve not met many people more interesting, sincere, funny, or genuinely peculiar as filmmaker George Kuchar. Last year I visited him and his twin brother Mike in San Francisco to facilitate and document the production ofRoom 666. It was…
Just cuz it’s one of the greatest songs ever, that’s why!
